Rod Burn works in a variety of mediums from his studios in Tilford where he and his family have created a highly original artist’s garden alongside their Holistic Healing Centre.
He visualises cycles, rhythms, resonance and vibrations. In the vast universe there are infinite patterns, each different, some similar, that are imitated and repeated in varying forms. They are present in all that we feel, see and experience in our lives. Everything has its own vibrational frequency. Energy is contained within all things. Patterns are continually created by the elements for example. The action of wind on sand or simply by the changing of the sea tide. A slice through the trunk of a tree has a ring pattern similar to that of a spider’s web. The ripple on the surface of water has a pattern similar to that of radio waves.
Rod’s art practice is produced in a state of channelled meditation where, using his intent and an opening up within the heart a connection is made with the ethereal or spiritual world. Some pieces have a cosmic influence while others are simpler and on a more personal level. These colourful, thought provoking pieces of art could bring certain energies into your home.
